I really had fun creating this song. The people that really know me personally on a deeper level know that I like the dark aspects of life and this song is definitely a tune you would want to listen to at night, driving on the highway blasting the fuck out of it. It really gives the vibe of a horror movie or you should be afraid walking down a street at night all by yourself type of feel.
The piano, the strings and the organ mesh very well together giving a spooky vibe which was the vibe I was going for, then the drums & guitar just comes through and hits you in the chest. The vocals sounds like a serial killer trying to chase you in the beginning but then it gets more heartfelt, like this serial killer chasing you with a knife actually has a heart when he connects with his lover vampire girl or maybe this entity is just trying to scare the fuck out of you the whole time and doesn't want to kill you. The record probably could have been better with a couple of women screams in the composition around the chorus part but maybe it shouldn't be that saturated.
I love the cover art, I did it myself and I'm satisfied with it. I do all of my cover art because in this time of my life I want all of my art to come from me so it's all of my energy you receive. This is personally one of my favorite tracks that I've done. I've been listening to it continuously everyday it's too awesome.
